Zakia is a Hazara poet, community worker and activist. She is passionate about the empowerment of Hazara women living in Melbourne and set up the Australian Hazara Women's Friendship Network to provide skills training to women in driving and IT, while ensuring Hazara culture is maintained through cultural events and workshops programs.
